Amber (pronounced Amer) is at a distance of about 11 kilometers from The Pink city- Jaipur. This UNESCO World heritage site began its construction in 1592 by Raja Man Singh I and was completed by Mirja Raja Jai Singh. Made completely of red sandstone and white marble, guests are left hypnotized by the eminence of the royal residence that uses carvings, valuable stones, and mirrors. Standing in the Aravali Ranges, the fortification was worked in the fifteenth century AD by Rana Kumbha. Considered as the UNESCO world heritage site this is the second-biggest fort in India after Chittorgarh Fort.
